The is an outline of the role and expectations of the marketing assistant at MLG.
Purpose
To define the MLG role in supporting marketing operations through execution, coordination, and follow-through while marketing strategy and creative direction remain with the Marketing Director.
Role Overview
Cambria supports marketing through execution and coordination, with a focus on consistency and task completion. This role supports approved marketing initiatives and does not own marketing strategy or creative direction.
Cambria is not responsible for TikTok content creation, online reviews, or client intake activities.
Core Responsibilities
Social Media Support (Facebook and Instagram)

Schedule and publish approved posts

Maintain posting cadence per Social Media SOP

Verify captions, links, and images prior to posting

Confirm posts are live and displaying correctly
Content Calendar Maintenance

Maintain monthly content calendar

Ensure platform, topic, and posting date are included

Update calendar based on direction from Jenny
Marketing Task Coordination

Track recurring marketing tasks and deadlines

Follow priorities set by Jenny

Flag delays or blockers early
Content Preparation and Edits

Prepare basic social media images using templates

Make light edits as directed

Upload approved content to scheduling platforms
Research and Analysis Support

Assist with topical research when assigned

Pull basic engagement metrics as requested
Scheduling and Planning Support

Maintain filming schedules provided by Jenny

Track weekly and monthly marketing deadlines
Monitoring and Escalation

Monitor Facebook and Instagram comments and messages

Escalate brand or tone issues to Jenny

Escalate legal or case-related questions to Kathy
